  1. Open iTunes and select a song that’s not copy protected (m4a extension)
    • iTunes started out selling music files with copy protection (m4p extension)
  2. Right click and select “Create AAC Version”
    • I will call this copy 1
  3. Listen to the copy 1 song and find a section you would like to record as a ringtone
    • I don’t
